Saanich and Victoria Police Departments POPAT Assessment Test:
Welcome to the highly anticipated POPAT Assessment Test, organized jointly by the Saanich and Victoria Police Departments. This physical abilities test is designed to evaluate your athleticism and endurance, ensuring you have what it takes to pursue a career in law enforcement.
POPAT Stations and Evaluation:
During this event, you will face four challenging stations that will put your physical abilities to the test. Each station assesses different aspects of your athleticism, providing a comprehensive evaluation of your fitness levels.
To successfully pass the POPAT Assessment Test, participants must follow the defined protocol for each station and complete the timed portion of the test within 4 minutes and 15 seconds. Additionally, participants must demonstrate their ability to lift and carry a 100 lb torso bag for a distance of 50 feet.

HOW TO REGISTER 1-2-3-4:
1. Payment:
Use the following link to make payment via Saanich Parks and Rec found HERE. The cost for each applicant is $90 + tax – and is non refundable for this date.
2. Registration:
To participate, simply complete the details below (important: include the receipt number from your payment). Registrations will not be processed without payment confirmation.
3. Consent & Liability Release Form:
Please read the Consent & Liability Release Form found HERE, then sign below:

4. Get Active Questionnaire:
All participants are required to complete the Get Active Questionnaire (4-6 pages), and can be found HERE. The form must be completed and signed and emailed to joinspd@saanichpolice.ca. The document should be sent the same day registration is done. The safety and well-being of all participants is our top priority.
Cancelling Your Registration:
In the event that you need to cancel your registration, please submit a request using the form available on the update registration page. Please note, payments are non-refundable and non transferrable.
